- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Not a very good department. If you can call it that. I don't understand how an unincorporated area of Deschutes county has it's own so called police department and does not use the sheriff. I have had some decent dealings with a few officers, but there are a few bad apples ruining the station for everyone one else. Their priorities are all out of wack as well. They sit around trying to find the smallest infractions and the few bad apples have serious attitudes and complexes. Honestly the sheriff needs to handle this area, or the resort needs to make sure these employees are not harassing customers and more importantly, locals. I hope they improve drastically!By Squid Person, June 16, 2017
